One

memory bursts onto the live stage! The Kids’ Curtain production
of Footloose will have everyone dancing to the musical tunes that shook the 80s.
The
Gin Game is the winner of the 1978 Pulitzer Prize, which originally
starred
Jessica Tandy and Hume Cronyn who uses the game
of gin as a metaphor for life. This play will kick off the 2011-2012
dinner theatre series.
Theatre
Cambrian announced that it has made minor changes to its 2011-2012
season to accommodate the World Premiere of a
new Canadian comedy. "We have replaced the November 2011
production of Jake’s Women with the new Canadian
comedy "Friends,
with Benefits.”, states Mark Mannisto, executive director
of Theatre Cambrian. "We are extremely honoured to be given
the opportunity to be the first theatre company to produce this
charming script by Kate Horzempa & L. E. Hines.” adds

Whose
Wives Are They Anyway? has the Ashley
Maureen Cosmetics Company being sold. Two of its
vice presidents,
David and John, have
planned a “guy’s weekend” before
new C.E.O. MS. Hutchison, arrives.
The
action is set in Truvy’s beauty salon in Chinquapin,
Louisiana, where all the ladies who are “anybody” come
to have their hair done. Steel Magnolias is
filled with hilarious repartee and humorously revealing
verbal collisions.

Lives. Elyot and Amanda, once married
and now honeymooning with new spouses at the
same hotel, meet by chance and reignite the
old spark.
In
a San Francisco loft, aspiring author Felix focuses his binoculars
on a
prostitute plying her trade. He complains to the landlord,
has her evicted, and finds he has trouble pounding on his door. This
version of The Owl and the Pussycat is no longer a take for the kids.
