Theatre Cambrian offers Vocal Training

Private Vocal Lessons

Theatre Cambrian is pleased to offer professional vocal training. Taught by vocal instructor, Pamela Teed, private classes will be available to members of Theatre Cambrian and the general public for a nominal fee.

Vocal lessons will include such concepts as proper breathing and vocal techniques, musical interpretation, and performance. Some theory and music-reading skills will also be incorporated. In addition to private lessons, voice students will have the opportunity to perform in a recital every winter and spring.

Pamela Teed holds a Master of Music degree (voice performance with Ingmar Korjus) from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Music from Laurentian University. In August 2006, Pamela was awarded a rare scholarship to attend an intensive summer program in France, where she studied with world-renowned concertist Dalton Baldwin. Whilst continuously building her performance career, Pamela is currently teaching voice through Laurentian University and at her privately owned voice studio.
